He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Hoffland of Madison; his grandsons, Erik Hoffland (Marianne El-Khoury) of Washington, D. C. and Kristian Hoffland (Kristen Madler) of Washington, D. C.; and his great grandchildren, Aleksander, Liam, Kaia and Lucia.
