He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Runde and Caroline T. Runde (Salwolke); his wife Alice Korn of Peter's Lutheran Church; his granddaughter Stephanie Giesen; his son-in-law Ron Robison; his grandson-in-law David Post; his brothers, Vincent, Bernard, Gerald and Francis; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Bass, Donald Brodbeck and Rose Runde.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Runde-Robison (Rick Siegenthaler), Ed Runde (Cindy), Cindy Greenfield (Tracy), Dennis Runde and Sheri Johnson (Barron); his siblings, Mabel Bass, Jeanne Allen (Chuck), Rosie Brodbeck and Joseph Runde (Karen); and his sister-in-law Mary Runde. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
