With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of DeLyla Mae Hintz of Fifield, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 79. Though DeLyla may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Dering and Neadria Dering (Rice); and her sister-in-law Charlene Dering. She is survived by: her husband Jim of Fifield; her children, Todd Hintz (Priscilla) of Mason, Tami Johnson (Ron) of Anthem, AZ, Tina Levra (Dan) of Butternut, Troy Hintz (Laurie) of Augusta and Trent Hintz (Tessa) of Medford; and her siblings, Gilbert "Gib" Dering of Wausau, Rodney "Rod" Dering (Mary Jane) of Wausau and Mary Konkol (Rick) of Phillips. She is also survived by grandchildren, (7) great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maranatha Baptist Church (N9310 Old 13 Rd, Phillips, WI 54555). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
