He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin W. Gauger and Agnes W. Gauger (Johnson); his stepgrandson Justin Strava; his siblings, Eugene Gauger and Marcella Desotelle (Gay); his siblings-in-law, Ruth Bellavia (Frank), Frank Bellavia, Gay Desotelle and Kenneth Skippon; and his nephew Sam Skippon.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Strava (Havranek) of Fish Creek; his stepchildren, Duane Strava (Jodi) of Peoria, AZ and Margaret Strong (Matt) of Aeneas Valley, WA; his stepgranddaughter Kristina Pennington (Jonathan); his stepgreat-grandson Jameson Pennington; his sister Violet Skippon of Sturgeon Bay; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Gauger of Algoma and Donald Havranek (Pat) of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
