He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Zabel and Beatrice Zabel; his mother-in-law Mary; his grandmother Panfil; his son Robbie Zabel; his daughter-in-law Dawn Zabel; and his brothers-in-law, Rick Haise and Carl Stark.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Zabel; his children, Jay Zabel, Jo Ann Herman (Wade) and Aric Zabel; his sister Joan Haise-Tredwell; and his close friends, Andy Herrick and Betty Gunville. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, and dear close friends.
