She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schmoldt and Gertrude Schmoldt (Gnekow); her husband Richard Absolon; her brothers, Marvin, Howard, Lawrence and William; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Absolon, Jean, Margaret Schmoldt and Marilyn Absolon.

She is survived by: her children, Randall (Sabrina), Daniel Absolon (Cynthia) and Sandra Anderson (David); her grandsons, Alfred, Richard Absolon, Andrew and Benjamin Anderson; her stepgrandchildren, Heather Cooper, Jason and Scott Mendoza; and her sister-in-law Patricia Schmoldt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
