She was predeceased by: her parents, Rueben A. Brolin and Agnes Brolin (Erickson); her husband Joseph Bednarski; and her brothers, Robert Brolin and Ernie Brolin.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Vandergeriff and Dennis Vandergeriff; her stepson Larry Bednarski (Rachel); her brothers, Brant Brolin (Cindy), James Brolin (Ann), Edward Brolin (Diane) and John Brolin (Carmen); and her granddaughters, Hunter Vandergeriff and Carrington Vandergeriff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
