He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ellner and Evelyn Ellner (Sonnenberg); his wife Linda Ellner of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church; and his parents-in-law, George and Murnabelle Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda Halfmann (Tony) and Stanley "Sam" Ellner; and his nephews, Paul and Peter Halfmann. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
