He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Foster and Marjorie Foster (Bestor); his son Brian Foster; and his sisters, Marilyn Brausch and Karen Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Jansen; his children, Jonathan Foster (Becky), Kimberly Foster and Alan Foster (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Becki Argyres (Daniel) and Jason Anderson (Shannon); his grandchildren, Kirsten Foster, Colin Foster, Alaina Foster, Brooks, Beau Foster, Elias Argyres, Keziah, Jaiden and Noah Anderson; his sister Judy Dunn; and his former wife Barb Foster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Boy Scouts of America or Fond du Lac Food Pantry in David's name.
