He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Luther and Goldie Lichtenberg Luther; his sister Sandra Huber; and his brother-in-law Paul Splittgerber. He is survived by: his wife Janet Splittgerber-Eckert; his stepdaughters, Jane Freismuth, Joan Sedarski and Jacqueline Pittler (Tim); his grandchildren, Jenna Dondlinger (Jason), Justin Reinke (Jessica), Zachary Sedarski (Jestina), Virginia Sedarski and Katelyn Freismuth; his great grandchildren, Jaelyn, Jordyn Sedarski, Hudson Reinke, Jaxon and Jaron Dondlinger; his son Andrew Luther (Traci); his grandchildren, Amanda Johnson (Eric), Shane Luther (Christina), Carissa Loberger and Brady Loberger; his great grandchildren, Carter, Everett and Allison Johnson; his brothers, David Luther (Kathie) and Dale Luther (Pat); and also, Eugene Splittgerber (Kathrine), Rita Eggen (Otis), Lisa Horton (Rick) and Amber Loberger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
