Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hankwitz and Anita Hankwitz (Weber); his daughter Darci Atkins; and his brother Randolph Hankwitz. He is survived by: his daughter Traci (Bob Koenig); his grandchildren, Tonisha Atkins and Tannen Atkins; and his sister Pam Challis (Kathy Dewalt).
