He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar E. Ronning and Alice B. Ronning (Butterfield); and his wife Pauline C. Schaefer. He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn J. Kunick; his siblings, Janice Funk (Emil), Edward, Carl, Alberta "Birdie" Engel and Delores Eggert; his children, Thomas, Linda Schimmel and Barbara Ronning; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Ethel Kunick (Funk); his daughter Mary Feiereisen (Michael); his children-in-law, Gregory Schimmel and Patty Ronning; and his stepchildren, Keith Schaefer (Connie) and Karen Erickson. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
