Esther K. Mand Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther K. Mand of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Heaney and Meta Miller Heaney; her husband Alfred "Fritz" Mand of Patrick's Catholic Church; her foster parents, Nick Abler and Irene Abler (Alfred "Fritz"); her children, Bobby and Mary Teofilo; her siblings, Dorothy Huth (Lyle), Helen Jerdee (Lyle), Catherine'Kay'Abler, Barbara Ouellette, Martin Heaney (LouNelle) and Vincent "Tom" Heaney (Marilyn); and her in-laws, Florence Michels (Alex), Alois Mand (Lydia), Ambrose Mand (Agnes), Ray Mand (Mary Ann), Servie Mand (Marie), Genevieve Kopplin (Emil), Wilfred Abler (Marie), Adolph Schneider and Leo Mand.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Seibel (Ken, Jr.), Janet O'Connor (Michael) and David Mand (Diane); her son-in-law Robert Teofilo, Sr. (Kathy); her grandchildren, Trisha Teofilo Olave (Ricardo), Corina Mattson (Eric), Bridget Teofilo, Bob Teofilo (Lisa), Tina Teofilo (Gina Gleason), Kelly King (Ben), Carrie Nitz (Jake), Jennifer Kraus (Allen "AJ"), Christopher O'Connor, Elizabeth Achter, Thomas Mand (Naomi Wasserman), Brian Mand (Bobbi Jo) and Ben Mand (Carly Wilson); her great grandchildren, Caleb Siebauer, Cami, Chase Nitz, Teegan, Julian, Darrian Kraus, Liam, Murphey, Rorey O'Connor, Barron, Aubrey, Graham, Clara Achter, Isla, Cora, Lewis Mand, Leon Mand, Enza, Teo Olave, Anja, Marco and Oliver Mattson; her sisters, Mary Schaefer (Ron) and Judy Michels (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Schneider, Irene Mand and Joseph Ouellette. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Family Parish - Fond (271 Fourth St Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54937). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Esther's name.
