With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen I. Bauer of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2026 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen I. Bauer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ruhland and Agnes Ruhland (Dohrman); her husband Felix R. Bauer; her great grandchild Jacob Zimmerman; and her brother Leo Ruhland (Judy).
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Bodden of West Bend, Jeffrey Bauer (Judy) of Lomira, Dean Bauer (Lori) of Brownsville, Linda Thimm (Roger) of Hartford, Chris Bauer (Pam) of Brownsville and Julie Priesgen (Pete) of Fond du Lac; and her grandchildren, Nicole Zimmerman (Tim), Joshua Bodden (Valerie), Lucas Bauer (Alexis), Hattie Bauer (Sage), Dana Thimm, Kevin Thimm (Kori), Allen Thimm, Jaxson Bauer, Shaun Priesgen (Jenny) and Jaymee Feucht (Andy). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step great- grandchildren, and other dear relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
