He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sabel and Valeria Sabel (Holzmann); his grandchild Ryan Wilfahrt; and his brother Charles Sabel. He is survived by: his wife Joann M. Whitmore of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Dawn Wilfahrt (Jim), Deborah Ristow and Dennis Sabel (Denise); his grandchildren, Casey Sabel, Kate Wilfahrt-Cook (Shane), Nikki Sabel-Glad (Derek), Gabe Ristow (Megan), Corrie Sabel (Madi Cogdill) and Calaf Wilfahrt (Katie House); and his siblings, Ronald Sabel, Cindy Bell and Carol Bostwick. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
