She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Haseltine Carter and Mary-Jessie Carter; and her siblings, Sally Carter Fleming (Sarah), Anne Haseltine Carter, Mary Carter Eager and Edwin Kuhn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Carter Kuhn and David Nash Carter (Nancy); her brothers-in-law, Andrew Peter Fleming and Richard Eager; and her friend Mary Frazier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
