It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet E Wermes of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kurt Hitzemann and Peggy Hitzemann (Reardon) of Markesan; and her husband Steven Wermes. She is survived by: her daughter Nora Uttech (Adam) of Fond du Lac; and her siblings, Ann Draxler (John) of Neenah, Susan Murphy (Jim) of Markesan, Kurt Hitzemann (Barbara) of Springhill, FL and Karl Hitzemann (Carolyn) of Brookfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
