He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Faris and Bea Faris; and his father-in-law Tom Meiklejohn Jr.. He is survived by: his children-in-law, Steven, Parker, Nathan and Gramps; his friend Jeff; his wife Anne (Meiklejohn); his daughters, Elizabeth Oved (Steven), Alison Helleberg (Parker) and Jennifer Faris (Nathan Sharpless); his grandchildren, Grace, Jonah, Josephine and Sophia; his siblings, Sue Wiza (David), Gene Faris (Kerry) and Paul Faris; his mother-in-law Gloria Meiklejohn; and his siblings-in-law, Dawn Meiklejohn and Tom Meiklejohn III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
He was a community advocate and generously donated to many organizations.
