Joel G. Kroll Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joel G. Kroll of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kroll and Irene Kroll (Kohn); his sisters, Jalayne Kroll, Janice Achter and Judy Schield; and his grandchildren, Grace Ann Kroll and Wyatt John Jacks.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Merkel; his children, Bridgett Amadon (Chris) of Fond du Lac, Meggan Jacks (Christopher) of Shawnee, KS, Colleen Kroll-Wright (Alex) of Cudahy and Trevor Kroll (Amy) of New Franken; his grandchildren, Ben, Zach, Sam, Maddie Amadon, Kora Jacks, Owen Wright, Nora, Lily and Caleb Kroll; and his siblings, Joan Reshke, Janelle Mueller (Wilmer) and Jeff Kroll (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (271 Fourth St Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54935). A Mass was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Joel's wishes any memorials go to Holy Family Catholic Church or Aurora Hospice.
