John E. Abler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Abler of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Abler and Edna Abler (Michels); his wife Dottie; his sister Sister Rose; and his siblings-in-law, Lucille Kiefer (Andrew), Norman Meis (Bernice) and Henry.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Schaefer (Dan) of Madison and Wayne Abler (Julie) of Winneconne; his grandchildren, Daniel Schaefer (Sarah), Stephanie Schmidt (Joshua), Brad Van Caster (Tara), Mark Van Caster (Tara) and Anthony Abler; and his sister-in-law Marie Woehrer. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Agnesian Hospice Hope Program or the Malone Museum.
