It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Steffes (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John L. Steffes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Steffes and Vincentia Steffes (Brenner). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tweedale; his son Eric Steffes (Crystal); and his sisters, Mary Cappellari, Sr. (Giovanni) and Carol Freund (Thomas). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“To wife Nancy, son Eric. The last time we saw John Lewis was at a rummage sale and he knew I was a Brenner right away! My husband and John talked about hunting and rummaging. We are very sorry for your loss. Also my husband and I are sending our sincere sympathy to Sr. Jean, Mary Lou and Carol. we will send a donation to the VA as suggested.
