She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Pfeil and Dorothy Pfeil (Hagan); her husband Bill; her son Perry Ward; her son-in-law Brian Smit; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Ward and Christopher Schultz.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Buehrens (Dan), Laura Ward (Greg Bauer), Kathy Cook, Brad Ward (Mary), Beth Smit and Angie Ward (Bob Holsman); her daughter-in-law Kathryn Ward; her grandchildren, Ben Ward (Kelly Meyer), Michael Ward, Jessica Ward, Kate Kohlman (Jake), Rebecca Hettenhaus (Adam), Mariel Bohnsack (Aaron), Toni Bartolutti (DJ Payton), Giuseppe Bartolutti (Katelyn Altmann), William Bartolutti (Sarah Engstrom), Christina Michael (Chris), Ryan Cook (Shara), Kayla Egli (Rob), Megan Miller (Landon), David Ward, Amanda Smit, Eric Smit (Chelsey), Jon Schultz (Jenny Wang) and Jacob Holsman; her great grandchildren, RJ, Brooklynn, Kennedy, Remington, Millie, Henry, Abraham, Oliver, Elena, Lennon, Rilee, Emelia, Coralyn, Landry and Lennox; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Ward (Helen) and Don Burroughs (Genny).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Church (N6717 Streblow Dr, Fond du Lac, WI 54937). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kay's name are appreciated.
