He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Warren, Virginia Hess (Fox), Alden and Arlene Baudry (Taft); and his aunt Sharon Baudry.

He is survived by: his parents, Steven Hess and Sandra Hess (Baudry); his siblings, Lori Veley (Brian), Lisa Pieper (Shane), Brian Hess (Nicole) and Katie Burr (Tucker); and his nieces and nephews, Jake, Samantha, Molly Veley, Kylie, Kendall, Carson Pieper, Clayton, Brock Hess, Landry and Harlie Burr.
