He is survived by: his wife Stacey Zellmer; his children, Katie Schrank and Kevin Thew; his grandson Ethan Thew; his siblings, Diane Waterman (Dennis), Linette Backhaus (Ronnie), Jackie Freund (Roger), Dean Thew (Nancy) and Dick Thew (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Shelley Achterberg (David) and David Zellmer (Nicole); his pets, Buster, George and Max; and his friends, Ron Pomplin, Jim Schumacher, Beth Tenner and David Achterberg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
