He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Eggers and Catherine Eggers (Doll); his sister Arlene Vandervort; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Vandervort and Alvin "Sonny" Kissinger.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Loehr Eggers; his children, Theresa "Terry" Kilburg, Daniel Eggers (Lisa), James Eggers (Denise) and Deborah Bender (Tom); and his sister Shirley Kissinger. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
