We are sad to announce that, on February 9, 2026, at the age of 86, LeRoy D. Abitz Jr. of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy LeRoy leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though LeRoy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Abitz and Ethel Abitz (Schultz); and his siblings, Ethel Stacey, Kenneth Abitz, Joyce Schwind and David Abitz.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Behnke; and his siblings, Alvin Abitz (Lynn) and Christine Humleker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
