She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Serwe and Veronica Serwe; her spouse Richy Steinacker of Martin's Catholic Church; her siblings, Al Serwe (Mary Ann) and Cathy Reindl (Lee); her in-laws, Hugo and Ella Steinacker; her siblings-in-law, Dale Steinacker, Gloria Steinacker, Mary Lou Thelen (Joe) and Marjorie Ketter (Jim); and her nieces and nephews, Mary Jo Ketter, Cheryl Serwe, Rick Ketter and Mike Thelen.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Serwe (Cary), Dan Steinacker (Barbara), Lisa Steinacker and Lori Hornung (Bob); her grandchildren, Carissa Donath (Adam), Brandon Serwe (Trish), Molly, Claire Steinacker, Michael Hornung (Alanna) and Elyse Hornung; and her great grandchildren, Addison and Alannah Donath.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (271 Fourth St Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54937). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name for SSM Health Hospice Home of Hope (400 Cty.
