She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Shaffer and Mary Shaffer (Elbert). She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Prothero; her children, Michelle Carroll (Marvin) and Joseph Prothero (Cheralie); her siblings, Jane Pickett (Keith) and Tom Shaffer (Diane); her sister-in-law Eyvonne Thomas (Dennis); her grandchildren, Jenna McCuen (Zack), John Serverino III (Emily), Justin Severino (Aaliyah), Kaylynn, Zechariah, Elizabeth, Joselyn and Ezekiel; and her great grandchildren, Mia, Kameran, Tilly, Nellie, Jasper and Justin Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
