She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gurath and Gertrude Gurath (Chappy). She is survived by: her husband Stanley Scherer of Joseph's Catholic Church; her children, Jayne Levinger (Matt Grunke), Gary Scherer, Jody Scherer and Julie Pilak (John Peebles); her grandchildren, Nick Grahl (Taya Schairer), Cory Scherer, Ashly Pickering (Steve), Brandon Scherer, Jacob Levinger (Mikeala Bennett) and Hunter Levinger; her brothers, Guy Gurath, Danny Gurath and Michael Gurath (Marianne); and her sister-in-law Susie Scherer. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home (524 N Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
