We announce the death of Maya Rose James (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 11. Maya Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her mother Ashley James; her stepfather Brandon Thielman; her sister Catherine Thielman; her father Christopher Maas; her siblings, Brianna Maas, Brittany Wallschleager, Tiffany Markiewicz and Tim Simon; her grandparents, Todd James, Coleen Brocker, Carol and Larry Maas; and her great-grandparents, Nancy and Larry James. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and grandparents.
