He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Thill and Nancy Thill (Bucholtz). He is survived by: his daughter Jolinn Ennis (Dan); his grandchildren, James and Evren; his daughter Daniell Thill; his grandson Silas; his stepmother Barb Thill; his siblings, Gary Thill (Tracy) and Renee Galle; his stepsiblings, Patti DeWitt (David), Pamela Morrow (Greg), Susan Wenzler (Jeff) and Todd Gundrum (Tabatha); and his former wife Lindee Kimball. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
