He was predeceased by : his father Jose T. Montes. He is survived by : his daughter Victoria Montes; his mother Maria Montes; his sisters, Maria Rodenkirch (Todd), Paula Hernandez (Miguel), Juana Montes (Florencio Hernandez), Teresa Villarreal (Jose), Raquel Jasso and Carmen Montes; and his friend Melissa Knueppel. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
