He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine; his parents, Roman Bauer and Leona Bauer (Czoschke); and his sisters, Romona Sperger (Courtland) and Leona Schraufnagel (Carl).
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Bauer (Linda), Erin Gerred (Daniel) and Ellen Rodenkirch (John); his grandchildren, Katrina Mayer (Erich), Kristina Bauer (Josh Reddemann), Keenan Gerred and Shea-Lynn Gerred (Ben Noble); and his great grandchildren, Briar, Callen Mayer, Cecilia and Jack Reddemann. He is also survived by his family and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family (200 S Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935). A Mass was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Raymond's name may be directed to the Agnesian Healthcare Foundation for cancer research.
