He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Abig and Lillian Abig (Rauls); his wife Nancy; and his sons, Randall (Randy) and Richard (Ricky).
He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Diane) and Joshua (Nicole); his grandchildren, Blake (Cassie), Alexandra, Jackson and Lyla; and his great grandchild Elliott.
In place of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
