He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Benson (Benjamin) of Reno, NV, Emily Werner (Michael) of Elk Mound, WI and Holly Hartz (Eric) of Monona, WI; his grandchildren, Madeline, Zachary, Abigail, Nathan, Samuel, Gabriel, Logan, Olivia and Eowyn; and his sister Elayne Maas of Muskego.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church.
