He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Bernath (Scherer). He is survived by: his father Andrew Bernath; his children, Rick Bernath (Jeanne), Cindy Buchholz (Bob) and Paula Beekman (Rick); his grandchildren, Andy (Meghan), Wes (Maggie), Katchen Tofil (Jim), Andra Story (Derek), Aaron Buchholz (Jackie), Adam Buchholz (Carrie), Chad Beekman (Steph) and Amy LaBouve (Ben); his great grandchildren, Dillyn, Eloise, Reed, Logan, Gunnar, Dorothy, James, Alexa, Avery, Kiera, Killian, Ethan, Caleb, Chase, Max, Qyn, Sam and Emi; and his close friend Rosie Hernandez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church (1600 S Main St, Fond du Lac, WI 54937). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are appreciated to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winnebago Lutheran Academy and/or an organization of your choice.
