He was predeceased by : his parents, Delos Dieter and Eleanor Dieter (Doll); his wife Rita Kane; his sister Myra Polashek (John); his nephew John Polashek; and his brothers-in-law, Neil Kane (Mary) and Al Stuckey.
He is survived by : his daughters, Joan Caine (Jeff) and Cathy Deitte (Tom); his grandchildren, Teresa Chambers (Jason), Timothy Caine (Katie), Brian Caine (Traci), Maria Hackbarth (Brian), Steven Deitte (Mary), Colleen and Christine Deitte; his great grandchildren, Jameson, Evelyn Chambers, Eleanor, Zachary Hackbarth, Bella Ludeman, Mason, Lillian, Delaney Caine, Easton Caine and Palmer Deitte; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Stuckey, Betty Ann O'Donnell (John) and Mary Ellyn Oetzel (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Dick's family would appreciate donations in his name to Holy Family Parish, the Knights of Colombus, or a hospice program.
