It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert E. Rucks (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Rucks and Maude A. Rucks (Trewin); his wives, Rita J. Wirkus and Marilyn L. Luedtke; his brother Donald Rucks; his mother-in-law Stella Wirkus; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Wirkus (Ludgilla), Bernard Wirkus (Eileen) and Joan Rucks.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Sears of Wautoma, Judith Rucks, Thomas Rucks (Karen), Ann Pickart (Steve) of Fond, Lac, Patricia Stenz (Corbin) of Oshkosh and Susan Bell (Mike) of Neshkoro; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Melissa), Adam Sears (Sara), Corbin Stenz (Tanya), Keiana (Bob Frank), Alana Rucks, Cliff Pickart (Shannon) and Kelsey (Kevin); his sister-in-law Julie Rucks; his friends, John and Mary Kotek; Sarah Hassel, Kurt (Sue), Kent (Mary), Jim (Betsy), Dave (Joan), John Luedtke (Carol) and Vicki Ziglinski (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Fond du Lac Area Foundation – Rita and Robert Rucks Scholarship Fund.
