He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Don Brown and Edith Brown (Nordine); his children, Linda Patrice (Dean), Patrice West and Chris Brown (Cyndi); and his grandchildren, David Toney, Anna Toney (Tom Manthe), Jennifer Kautzer (John), Chad Schoonover (Erin), Julie Geffrion (Luke), Jason Martens (Erin), Joshua Martens (Katie) and Chelsea Brown. He was also cherished by 17 great grandchildren.
