He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Kurt Waldschmidt (Melissa Lloyd), Ken Waldschmidt (Sarah Zeatlow) and Kim Finley (Joel); his grandchildren, Evangeline, Violet and Dean; his sisters-in-law, Christine Waldschmidt and Holly Waldschmidt; his in-laws, Dean Hanna (Carla) and Denise Schaumburg (Chuck); and his godson John Totz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
