He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Westemeier and Grace Westemeier; his wife Elizabeth Duley of Mary's Catholic Church; and his brother Richard Westemeier. He is survived by: his children, Sue Del Ponte (David), Steve Westemeier (Dina) and Mark Westemeier (Marie); his grandchildren, Eric Del Ponte (Leslie), Kyle Del Ponte (Rhianon), Ryan Del Ponte (Hillary), Caitlin Casillas (Jacob), Brandon Westemeier (Sarah), Ethan Westemeier, Meghan Westemeier, Grace Hielke (Dylan) and Maddy Westemeier-Joyce (Zak); and his great grandchildren, Preston, Hayden, Maverick, Harper, Oliver, August, Ronin, Malakai and Griffin.
