He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Sr. Cheevers and Laura Cheevers; his sister Laura; his grandson Nicholas; his brother-in-law Norn; and his uncle Bob.
He is survived by: his son Steven (Stasi) of Van Dyne; his friend Jerry; his wife Carol Cheevers of Fond; his children, Jean Hilby (Robert) of Friendship, Julie Van Deslunt (Patrick) and Lac; his grandchildren, Cody (Riley), Josh (Corrin), Stephanie (Phil), Jacob (Emily), Andrew (Ashley), Lukas, Tyler, Robert (Stacie) and Samantha (Benjamin); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Nicole, Kyler, Avery, Jackson, Rab, Charlotte, Gus and Catherine; and his sisters, Wanda Cohen (David) and Chris Cheevers (Vince). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the SSM Hospice Home of Hope and SSM Foundation - Adult Day Services.
