Edkins; his children, Matthew Schaefer (Kristine) and Valerie Pitchford (Ben); his grandchildren, John, Luke Schaefer, Maxwell, Amelia and Emme Pitchford; his sisters, Mary Schaefer and Ann Faul (DJ); and his sister-in-law Audrey Schaefer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and all his friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Ronald's name.
