She is survived by: her husband Nicholas H. Backhaus; her children, Randall Backhaus (Betty), Susann Backhaus (Bruce), Nicholas A. Backhaus (RJ) and Mary Cooke (Dan); her stepdaughter Deanna Johnson (Bob); and her grandchildren, Kari Cordeiro (Richardo), Amy Schulz (Tom), Chad Backhaus (Becky), Chad Wiskow (Nicole), Larry Hannaman (Shaina), Luke Backhaus (Brianna) and Teri Peachy (Pete). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
