It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell E. Jacobus (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Jacobus and Sarah Jacobus (Leistikow); his brother Peter Jacobus; and his brothers-in-law, James Evrard, Eugene Evrard and Joseph Evrard.
He is survived by: his wife Jerrie; his children, Penny Valvo, Vincent J, Isabella, Madison, Elizabeth Duffy (Craig) and David Jacobus (Alexandra); his brother Kenneth Jacobus of Anchorage, AK; his sister-in-law Kathleen Evrard; his nieces and nephews, Cheri Workman (David), Rachel Calleja (Michael), Jenny Larson (Neil), Stacy Evrard (Greg), Nathan Evrard (Sara), Renee Evrard Ward (David) and Amanda Evrard (Tim); and his goddaughters, Anne McClung (Craig) and Kate Dennert (Joe). He is also survived by cousins and many wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Diocese of Fond du Lac or the Cathedral of St. Paul .
