She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Stanchfield; her husbands, Frank Olson and Robert Smith; her son Robert G. Olson; her stepsons, John Smith and William Smith; and her siblings, Eugene Stanchfield, John Stanchfield, George Stanchfield, Virginia Willis and Harriet Murphy.
She is survived by: her son James F. Olson (Lac) of Fond; her stepchildren, Jeanne McDowell (John) of Fond, Margret Behrens (Jim) of Mequon, Michael Smith of Fond, Charles Smith (Mary) of Menomonie, WI and Peter Smith of Fond; her stepgrandchildren, Morgan Smith, Dylan Smith and Cholena Zielicke; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Caliann Smith, Lucas Kattestad and Liam Connor; her stepdaughter-in-law Janelle Anderson; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Stanchfield and Carol Stanchfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
