She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice M. "Maury" Shultz; her parents, Reva Gross and Pete Hofer; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her children, Chad Shultz (Shirl), Cleve Shultz (Donna) and Cassandra Bassetto (Steven); her grandchildren, Camric Shultz (Jackie), Kelsea Hoy (Josh), Maxx Shultz (Blakely), Hunter Shultz (Lauren), Avery Shultz, Karson Bassetto (Brittany) and Kaden Bassetto; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Waylon, Tyler, Hudson, Raegan, Milo, Coen, Dakota and Tucker; her sisters, Marilyn Ritchhart and Marsha Carlson; her nephew Brandon Ritchhart; and her nieces, Aubrey Lisiecki and April Ibarra.

For those wishing to honor Ruthe's memory, the family suggests a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, an organization that has held a special place in the Shultz family's hearts as Ruthe and Maury's daughter, Cassandra, has courageously managed MS for more than 30 years.
