He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Bender and Anna Bender (Ramig); his in-laws, Orval and Irma Huck; his siblings, Fred (Lorraine), Robert, Bud (Ruth), Al (Sandy), Herman, Ben, Marie, Ella (Rolland), Ruth, Dorothy (Frank) and Betty; his siblings-in-law, Janet Roeber (Richard), Kathryn Huck and David Huck (Doris); and his son-in-law Michael Bastian.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Huck of Mary's Church; his daughters, Christine Walker (Steven), Tammy Christopherson (Bryan), Sue Huettl (Tim), Stephanie Krupp (Tim) and Tracy Chartier; his grandchildren, Ashley Strey (Wes), Dustin Christopherson, Alex, Sam Huettl (Shandra), Morgan, Jordan, William Krupp, Lauren and Sarah Chartier; his great grandchildren, Edwin (EJ), Elliot and Quentin Strey; his godchild Shannon Kemnitz; his son-in-law Brian Chartier; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Reinsch (Michael) and Paul Huck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
