He was predeceased by: his parents, Kingsley Nelson and Hilda Nelson (Hollander); and his sister-in-law Sue Sorrentino. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Steven G. Nelson (Lynn) and Jodi E. Gulig (Mark); his grandchild Lindsay Huebner (Josh Thompson); his great grandchildren, MaKenna, Zoe, Ava, Bella, Raelynn Huebner and Winter Thompson; his grandchildren, Hannah Julka (Ben), Ashley Gulig and Kaitlyn Jones (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Claire, Noah and Hannah; his grandchildren, Logan Gulig and Gracie Gulig; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Sorrentino and Diane Kuhl (Charlie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends and neighbors.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials can be directed to Holy Family Catholic Church in Fond du Lac or The Salvation Army.
