She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoepfner and Margaretha Hoepfner (Burg); her husband Erwin Halfmann; her daughter Margaret Ann; and her siblings, Julius Hoepfner (Philomine), Auburn Hoepfner (Brigetta), Raymond Hoepfner (Genevieve) and Sylvia Cole (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her children, Anthony "Tony" Halfmann (Wanda) of Fond, Terese Halfmann (Peter Tellier) of Oconomowoc, WI, Thomas Haulfmann (Diane) of Stevens Point, WI and Julianne Sina (Charles) of Cedar Rapids, IA.; her grandchildren, Paul Halfmann (Tracie), Peter Halfmann, Margaret Tellier (Tyler Krug), Mary Tellier, Sally Haulfmann, Ben Haulfmann, Michael Sina and Jason Sina (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Kristen, Hannah, Ryan Halfmann, Joshua Halfmann, Korbin Jensen-Sina, Olivia, Jackson Sina, Charlee and Hadley Sina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Francis Home, 430 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, WI in honor of Virginia C. Halfmann.
